Our Vision
We are a visible, active, and relevant sign of God's love
and presence in the world.
Our Mission
Rejoicing in God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we dedicate ourselves to worship, spiritual formation, and pastoral care within the church community, local community and the world.
NEW MONTHLY FEATURE ON THE PARISH WEBSITE
In the parish we have a number of groups and activities which are all represented on the website with their own page.
Each month during 2010 one group or activity page will be featured here on the home page with a link to that particular group's page.
So, why not head on over and have a look and learn all about that group or activity. You may well find something that interests you or your children.
The feature page for February 2010 is 'Sprite (Sunday Club for Kids)'. You can access it by clicking on the image below.
Lenten studies

'The Parables' - simply children's stories or something else?
This year we will be offering people the opportunity to delve more deeply into six parables contained in Luke's Gospel over the six weeks of Lent.
There will be two session times offered, 10 am to 11.30 am and 7.30 pm to 9 pm on Mondays starting on 22 February and concluding on 29 March.
On Monday evening there will be a simple meal at 6.30 pm for those who wish to join us. People are still welcome to come for the study even if they are not able to come for the meal. The details of the meal will be finalized once we have an idea of numbers.
If you are interested in coming to either session please put your name on the list in the narthex.
For more information please speak with Michael Lazarus.
Mainly Music sessions starting in the Mullum Mullum Anglican Parish
We are really excited as our new Mainly Music sessions are about to start in the Mullum Mullum Anglican Parish at St Paul's Anglican Church Ringwood.
We will be meeting on Thursdays, starting on 4 March at 10 am.
The cost is only $5 per family per week.
We are very excited, and look forward to bringing these sessions to the community. It is not only a great opportunity for mums and dads and their children but also for grandparents or carers to come along with their little ones as well.
If you are interested, or know of someone who may be, please contact Wendy on 0413 608 737 or by email.
Would you like to contribute to the spiritual life of the parish?
Then why not offer your services to assist with our worship?
We are needing help in the following areas:
» Altar servers
» Welcomers
» Leading the prayers of intercession
» Flowers
» Bible reading
» Stewards
» Liturgical assistants
» Linen & silver cleaning
» Breakfast and morning teas
» Overhead screen operator
» Musicians
Please talk to Michael Lazarus about what is required for each role.
Training will be provided if needed.
Collect—Prayer & Gospel Reading for the Fifth Sunday after Epiphany

Week beginning Sunday, 7 February
Fifth Sunday after Epiphany
Set us free, O God, from the bondage of our sins,
and give us the liberty of that abundant life
which you have made known to us
in your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ;
who lives and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
